And yes, again it's time for Friday Fill-In's!
1. One of the best concerts/plays/movies I ever saw that I really didn't think I'd like was Allison Krause.
2. Pumpkin Crisp (it's fall now so my craving for pumpkin has kicked in and now I'll go on a pumpkin baking craze) is a recipe I recently made (or meal I recently ordered) that was delicious!
3. It's time for the damn weather to finally cool down (I know you're as tired of hearing that as I am of feeling it).
4. Summer Beer on a warm afternoon is quite refreshing.
5. If I never hear the word summer again, it'll be too soon.
6. To one side of the curving road was a really steep cliff, and on the other was a vast and beautiful ocean view, with breaking waves and setting sun.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to hanging out with Leo and the kids, tomorrow my plans include hopefully finding some good deals at a consignment sale and spending time outside since it's supposed to be 76 (OMG HEAVEN) and Sunday, I want to have a great time at a local farm pumpkin festival and relax!

If you haven't had this pumpkin dessert recipe, you MUST make it!!! Make sure there are plenty of people to help you eat it. It would be quite tempting to eat an entire 13x9 of it yourself!

Ok, well I meant to post that recipe to the other section, but oh well.
Natalie - Oh yes I've had that. I think I made it 4 times last year...
Here is a crazy good pumpkin muffin recipe.
Apple Pumpkin Muffins
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 cup canned or cooked pumpkin
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 cups finely chopped peeled apples
STREUSEL:
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 teaspoons cold butter or margarine
DIRECTIONS
1. In a bowl, combine the first five ingredients. In another bowl, combine the eggs, pumpkin and oil; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in apples. Fill paper-lined muffin cups two-thirds full. In a small bowl, combine sugar, flour and cinnamon. Cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over batter.
2. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks.
